CHURCH CALENDAR
I am asking all organizations to please send me your dates for the Church Calendar. We need to reserve your dates so that we do not have more than one event at a time. It is very hard for me to plan the calendar, if I don’t know your dates. Please make sure you clear the speaker for your events with the Pastor. All announcements need to be in to me by Wednesday for the following Sunday. Thanking you in advance, Mrs. Little, Church Secretary.
COUPLES MINISTRY
Come Join the 2007 Couples Ministry. We welcome couples whether married for 2 years or 50 years to attend and make suggestion to the proposed line up of activities designed to help couples strengthen their relationships and align with Christian teachings for a healthy, loving marriage. MAGAZINE FUNDRAISER!!!!
We have selected the American Publisher Magazine Subscription Program for our Spring fundraiser. We are excited about the opportunity to provide excellent products to our members and the general public, while generating needed funds for our church. Our goal is to sell at least 1,000 magazine subscriptions during the month of April, with each family selling at least nine subscriptions. The sale will start on April 1, 2007 and end April 29, 2007. Please contact James Hooper or Norma Barnes for details.

First Lady, Sharon Ennis, will spearhead the Friday Fellowship Committee. The Fellowship Nights will be held in August and February. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please contact Sister Ennis.
YOUNG MAN OF THE YEAR SCHOLARSHIP
Greetings! The Young Adult Ministry of Headland Heights United Methodist Church is again opening up the Young Man of the Year scholarship to any Black male under the age of 30 who wants to pursue a degree in higher education. It does not matter if you are a recent high school graduate attending college in the fall, a current college student, or someone looking to complete his masters or doctorate. We feel that any pursuit of higher education helps strengthen our community and would love to help. Please complete the following application including the essay and two recommendation forms (one from a professor or teacher and one from a non-relative) and return to Headland Heights United Methodist Church at: 2147 Dodson Dr. East Point, GA 30344.
